Ms. Carolyn ‘Doll’ Harris Hendrix, age 77, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 14, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Bonifay. She was born April 11, 1945, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Robert and Lorene Marsh Harris. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by three siblings, Larry Harris, Dennis Harris, and Iris Whitney.
Ms. Carolyn is survived by her children, Tony Sowell and wife Loretta, Sherry Moore and husband Mike, and Pam Hendrix; five grandchildren, Emily McAdams and husband Jesse, Mika Marshall and husband Hunter, Mikayla Wood and husband Marcus, Autumn "Tootsie" Hendrix, and River Hendrix; four greatgrandchildren, Emma McAdams, Peyton McAdams, Lyla Marshall, and Atlas Wood; her siblings, Jean Bevens and husband Elmer, Joan Biddle, Judy Bailey and husband Bobby, Karen Hendrix and husband Gerald, Steve Harris and wife Susan, Tim Harris, Stanley Harris, and Clint Harris; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2022, at Harris Chapel Church with Rev. Mitch Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at Harris Chapel Church.
