Mr. Clarence Matthew ‘Matt’ Jones, Jr., age 87, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 14, 2020 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay. He was born August 13, 1933 in Ashford, Alabama to the late Clarence Matthew Jones, Sr. and Norma Lee Hayburn Jones. In addition to his parents, Matt was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Sandra Marie Lonenzo, a grandson, Alex Jones and a sister, Mary Henry.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Lucy Jones of Bonifay, FL; one son, Larry Jones and wife Deykel of Overton, KS; one daughter, Jodie Jones of Dothan, AL; one step-son, Scott Crews and wife Cyndi of Wetumpka, AL; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Jones of Rocky Mount, NC; six grandchildren, Stephanie Herndon and husband Brett of Sunset Beach, NC, Nikki Jones and Lori of Rocky Mount, NC, Mackenzie Jones of Rocky Mount, NC, Chloe Jones of Rocky Mount, NC, Keith Jones of Rocky Mount, NC, Christopher Vickers of Corpus Christi, TX; three step-grandchildren, Heath Crews of Wetumpka, AL, Hunter Crews of Bonifay, FL and Ashley Lorenzo of Austin, TX; three great-grandchildren, Sidney Herndon, Dawson Jones, and Justine Jones.
Memorialization will by cremation. Memorial donations may be given to any church of your choice.
