Mr. Dewey Dion Mixon, age 59, of Bonifay, Florida passed away September 19, 2021, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. He was born January 30, 1962, in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Mixon was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Pearson and father Dewey Mixon, Jr.
Mr. Mixon is survived by his wife, Ruthie Mixon of Bonifay, FL; two daughters, Diana Butler and Derick of Bonifay, FL and Angela Mixon and Lincoln of Bonifay, FL; eight grandchildren, Hunter Mixon, Alexis Mixon, Noah Mixon, Isabella Mixon, Leigha Thomas, Lilly Thomas, Leeland Thomas, and Layla Thomas; four sisters, Debra Mobley, Delaine Mixon, Paula Mixon, and Janee Gilmore; three brothers, Joey Bartkovich, Johnny Bartkovich, and John Pollette; numerous nieces and nephews; step-father, Ray Pearson; step-mother, Ginger Mixon.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 25, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shelly Chandler officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
