DOROTHY CHESNUT

Ms. Dorothy Dale Forehand Chesnut, age 91, of Bonifay, Florida passed away April 30, 2026, at her home.  She was born on February 7, 1935, in Washington County, Florida.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Mae Thames Forehand, her husband, Jerry Edward Chesnut, and several siblings.

Ms. Chesnut is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Paramore and husband Charles and Lisa Messer; one son, Arthur Robert Williams; four grandchildren, Sean Williams, Michael Williams, Charles Paramore III, and Ian Messer; one great-grandchild, Dottie Williams; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 4, 2026, in the Poplar Head Church Cemetery, 254 Poplar Head Road, Bonifay, Florida, with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends prior to the service in the cemetery from 2:45 to 3:00 PM Monday.
