HORACE DUNCAN ANDERSON

Mr. Horace Duncan Anderson, age 92, of Vernon, Florida, passed away September 28, 2025, at his home.  He was born February 6, 1933, in Washington County, Florida to the late Alexander Duncan Anderson and Rosie Bell Caraway Anderson.  In addition to his parents, Horace was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Lesse Anderson, one daughter, Sharon Sasser, and eight siblings, Mattie Bell Simmons, James Cary Anderson, Jim Wilson Anderson, Harvey A. Anderson, Bobby J. Anderson, Cecil C. Anderson, William F. Anderson, and Annie Dell Anderson.

Mr. Anderson is survived by three sons, Dewayne Anderson and wife Connie of Caryville, FL, Ken Anderson of Alford, FL, and Steve Anderson and wife Robie of Alford, FL; a son-in-law, Henry Sasser of Chipley, FL; a sister-in-law, Connie Anderson of Westville, FL; special friends, Steve and Barbara Thompson of Vernon, FL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
