Mrs. Janis Louise Hill, age 84, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 30, 2021, at her daughter’s home. She was born September 26, 1936, in Livingston, Texas to the late Clarence Felton Boyd and Eva May Glidden Boyd.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband of 67 years, Tom Hill of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Leisa Bailey and husband James of Bonifay, FL; one son, Tommy Hill and wife Elizabeth of Knoxville, TN; twelve grandchildren, Grace Wagstaff and husband Ryan, Anna Pleas and husband Mitchell, Tyler Bailey, Caleb Hill and wife Katherine, Joshua Hill and wife Rachel, John Hill and wife Holly, Stephen Hill, Sarah Hill, Mary Hill, Susanna Hill, Deborah Hill, and Thomas Hill, III; four great-grandchildren, Nolan Wagstaff, Owen Pleas, Margaret Hill, and Caroline Hill and three great-grandchildren on the way; two brothers, Charles Boyd and wife Lois of Houston, TX and Bill Boyd and wife Beverly of Bedford, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2021, at First Baptist Bonifay with Dr. Shelly Chandler officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at First Baptist Bonifay.
