Mr. Lonnie Wayne Roberts, age 67, of Caryville, Florida passed away July 20, 2022, at VITAS Inpatient Hospice in Community Health and Rehab in Panama City, Florida. He was born July 5, 1955, in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father, John James Roberts, mother, Pauline Williams, stepmother, Mavis Lorene Roberts, two brothers, Billy Ray Roberts and Max Roberts, and two sisters, Sheila Lewis and Linda Seley.
Mr. Roberts is survived by six children, Troy Roberts of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Marshall Roberts and Amber of Ponce de Leon, FL, Dewey Roberts of DeFuniak Springs, FL, John Roberts and Rachel of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Cally Roberts and Kriss of Caryville, FL, and Layla Martin and Gio of Sunny Hills, FL; five siblings, Mack Roberts and Tracy of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Neal Roberts and Charlene of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Elisa Deming and Michael of Alford, FL, Rex Roberts of Crestview, FL, and Gene Roberts of Mossyhead, FL; 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
