Mr. Morris Wayne Garner Sr., age 70, of Bonifay, Florida passed away September 5, 2023, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was born March 27, 1953, in Annapolis, Maryland to the late James Leroy Garner Sr. and Pearl Bell Garner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jack B. Raleigh.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Cheryl Garner; one son, Morris Garner Jr., and wife Toni; one daughter, Bobbie Joe L. Raleigh; eleven grandchildren, Erica, Kayla, Randy, Anthony, Cheyenne & Christopher, Morris III and Cassidy, Dominick, Jacob, Jacqueline, Jesse, and Jefferey; eleven great-grandchildren, Raeven, Dexter W., Adalynn, Raelynn, Dexter Z., Austin, Davis, Kaden, Kyleich, Ginny, and Jack.
Morris served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked with drywall companies when he lived in Maryland and also enjoyed being a truck driver. He was well loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
