ROGER ‘ROYCE’ VON MILLER

Mr. Roger ‘Royce’ Von Miller, age 80, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 14, 1944, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Leonard Miller and Vera Forehand Miller.  In addition to his parents, Royce was preceded in death by one brother, Felton Miller and a granddaughter, Victoria Patterson.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gene Miller of FL; six children, Roger Von Miller Jr and wife Laura of GA, Ingrid G. Martin and husband Lee of FL, Mark D. Miller and wife Kris of GA, Gena E. Hicks and husband Jason of GA, Catherine A. Samay of GA, and Carrie T. Samay of KY; seven grandchildren, Jacob Martin and wife Heather of AL, Abby Martin of AL, Austin Miller of GA, Amber Brown and husband Joseph of FL, Juli Blackstock of GA, Makenzie Hicks of GA, and Wyatt Hicks of GA; eight great-grandchildren, Easton McGee, Paisley Brown, Zoe Patterson, Madelynn Patterson, Kreek Martin, Baylor Bradley, Beau Bradley, and Ben Bradley; one sister, Sarah McWaters of FL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
