THELMA LUCILLE EDSON

Mrs. Thelma Lucille Edson, age 88, of Caryville, Washington County, Florida passed away June 14, 2025, at her home.  She was born March 30, 1937, in Lynch, Kentucky.  Thelma was preceded in death by her father, Louis Heneger, her mother, Ida Marie Welch Heneger Robertson, two daughters, Debbie Edson Segars and Donna Brown, and four siblings, Louis Heneger Jr., Lonnie Heneger, Dala Holbert, and Jewel Frick.

Mrs. Edson is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles F. Edson; seven children, Cliff Monear, Jennifer Chipman and husband Joel, Mary Wilsey and husband Keith, Bob Edson and wife Patsy, Carol Phillps and husband Mike, John Edson and wife Sharon, and Lynda Edson Hamlin; two siblings, Edward Heneger and wife Karol and Jackie Schriber and husband Jerald; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2025, at Live Oak Baptist Church. Memorialization was by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
