Ms. Beatrice Eloise Gilley, age 80, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 8, 2023, at her home. She was born December 16, 1942, in Fort Myers, Florida. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Howard D. Gilley, her father, Alonzo Louis Howard, and one brother, Raymond Lonzo Howard.
Ms. Gilley is survived by one daughter, Cecelia ‘Birdie’ Brunk and husband Dennis of Bonifay, FL; two sons, Steve Gilley and Lonnie Gilley both of Bonifay, FL; four grandchildren, Marcus Brandon Dykes, Daphne Renee Dykes, William Robert Brunk, and Jacob Shelton; one great-grandchild, Marcus Dawson Dykes; mother, Juanne Perviss Howard of Alva, FL; three siblings, Eunice Jackson of Naples, FL, Allan Howard of Alva, FL, and Glenda Irvin and husband Larry of Lake City, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; mother to grandchild, Aurora Shelton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Steverson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, November 10, 2023, at Peel Funeral Home.
