BERTHA L. MILLER

Ms. Bertha L. Miller, age 89, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 24, 2026, at her son’s home.  She was born January 29, 1937, in Gritney, Florida to the late Grady Clearence Garner and Irene Forehand Garner.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. Miller, three siblings, Corene Gay, Joey Garner, and Myrtle Coleman, one daughter-in-law, Barbara Lee Miller, and two grandsons, Larry Andrew Miller and Lee Miller.

Ms. Miller is survived by two sons, Bill Miller and wife Kathy of Bonifay, FL and Larry Miller of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Barbara Kromhout and husband Robert of Eufaula, AL; one stepson, Gerald Miller and wife Barbara of Wicksburg, AL; ten grandchildren, Aaron, Jenny, Brian, Leslie, Devin, Gerald Jr., Sherry, Tammy, Andrew, and Jeremy; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Garner and Roy Garner and wife Carol both of FL; three sisters, Ludene Harris of GA, Ethel Michelotti and husband Romano of FL, and Elaine Bailes of FL; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, October 26, 2026, at Peel Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Carmel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Moore and Rev. Jonathan West officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Hill Miller’s Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Aaron, Brian, Devin, Gerald Jr., Tyler, and Jake.
