JOSEPH COLQUET MILLER

Mr. Joseph ‘Joe’ Colquet Miller, age 90, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 10, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 11, 1936, in Genoa, Wisconsin to the late Rosewell Clifford Miller and Madeline Register Miller.  In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Pyne and Karen Jean Forehand.

Mr. Miller was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was an active member of Bonifay First United Methodist Church, where his faith and fellowship were important parts of his life. Joe spent

several years working at Surplus and Salvage, where he became known for his ability to help others with home improvement projects. Outside of work, Joe enjoyed spending time with friends on the golf course. He also had a deep love for fishing, with fly fishing holding a special place in his heart. He cherished the time he spent bowling with his wife, sharing a hobby that brought them together and created special memories.  These hobbies brought him enjoyment.  Joe’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, making cherished memories and treasuring the moments they shared together.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Leslie Miller; five children, Joe Miller Jr. and wife Debbie, Cheryl Dungey and husband Hugh, Theresa Zdanis and husband, Pauly, Cliff Miller and wife Jeannine, and Nadine Clouse with Chris Smolenski; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Bonifay First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ryan Martin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at Bonifay First United Methodist Church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Bonifay First United Methodist Church, 202 North Oklahoma Street, Bonifay, Florida 32425.
