William Franklin ‘Frank’ Everett, age 84, born September 24, 1940, in Bonifay, Florida to Bryant and Harriett Smith Everett, passed from this life into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on August 14, 2025.  Present at the time was his wife, Lillian.

He is survived by his wife, son Jim Everett (Jenni) of Alford, FL; brother Carl Everett (Annie) of Bonifay, FL; grandsons Carter and Seth Everett; stepsons Rick Cline of Bessemer, NC and Russel Cline (Teri) of Milan, MI; also Joyce Everett of Bonifay, FL; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, and sister Krestine Gilley and previous wife Mary Everett.

As a young man, Frank became “the man with the star” working for the Rich’s Texaco in Bonifay on Highway 90.  Then after twenty plus years in management positions with IGA, he retired to enjoy small town living.  He loved Bonifay and later Chipley.

Frank enjoyed an intimate relationship with Pine Hill Church and the memories of having helped build it at the age of 12, carrying cinderblocks to the masons as they worked.

Services will be held at Pine Hill Church, Bonifay, on Monday, August 18, 2025.  Receiving of friends 10:00 AM and service 11:00 AM, interment Pine Hill Cemetery following.

The family wishes to thank VITAS Hospice Care, especially Frank’s nurse, Angela Land, who gave greatly appreciated care and comfort in his final days.
