Mr. Hal Everette Kirk, age 65, of Vernon, Florida passed away July 28, 2021, at his home. He was born December 24, 1955, in Durham, North Carolina to the late Deward Arnold Kirk and Willie Jean Thompson Kirk. In addition to his parents, Hal was preceded in death by one brother, John Kirk and a granddaughter, Ansley.
Mr. Kirk is survived by two daughters, Candice Blackmon and husband Torrey of Westville, FL and Monica Birge and husband Stephen of Vernon, FL; two grandchildren, Laython Blackmon and Clayton Blackmon both of Westville, FL; five siblings, Vivian Weber of Quincy, FL, Mark Kirk and wife Gayle of Hillsborough, NC, JoAnn Gilley and husband Larry of Vernon, FL, Amy Kirk of Vernon, FL, and Bryson Kirk and wife Elizabeth of Bonifay, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Holmes Creek Canoe Livery in Vernon, Florida.
