Mr. James Jasper Parker, age 83, of Bonifay, Florida passed away November 13, 2022, at his home. He was born March 26, 1939, in Chipley, Florida. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Parker, his mother, Erie V. Singletary, his father, James David Parker, one sister, Catherine Nell Harrell, one stepbrother, Donald M. Lewis, and one nephew, Dennis Harrell.
Mr. Parker is survived by one brother, James L. Parker and wife Doris of Altha, FL; nieces and nephews, Olivia Ham, Sarah Davis, Erie Tucker, Linda Harrell, Ronnie Harrell, Greg Harrell, and David Lewis; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Pilgrims Rest Church. Interment will follow in the Pilgrim Rest Church Cemetery, Slocomb, Alabama. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
