Kellar B. ‘K.B.’ Lewis, age 97, of Bonifay, Florida passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at his home. He was born August 29, 1924, in Holmes County Florida. He was the last surviving son of nine sons born to William Hailey Lewis and Ada Elizabeth Joiner Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Rosia Elizabeth ‘Bet’ Lewis of Bonifay, FL; a daughter, Judy White and husband Bill of Bonifay, FL; a son, Jimmy Lewis and wife Debbie of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
K.B. worked at Clinton Mills in Geneva, Alabama but his love was always farming and his cows and his catfish pond, where he always wanted his grands to go and have fun.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at New Bayveiw Church. Interment will follow in the New Bayview Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11 to 12 at New Bayview Church.
