Mr. Leonard Dale Roberts, Sr., age 70, of Bonifay, Florida passed away February 15, 2022, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida. He was born November 26, 1951, in Big Run, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, William Russell Roberts, his mother, Flossie Virginia Shepherd Roberts, two brothers, Kenneth Williams and Eddie Roberts, and two sisters, Betty Carlin and Marie Lott.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 25 years, Darlene Roberts of Bonifay, FL; eight children, Billy Dale Hughes of Bonifay, FL, Leonard Dale Roberts, Jr. and Crystal of Caryville, FL, Clarence K. Roberts of East Liverpool, OH, David Andrew Roberts and Jennifer of Caryville, FL, Joy Ruthella Roberts and Kelsey Gulick of San Tan Valley, AZ, Joanie Dianne Sturgeon of Phoenix, AZ, and Patricia Dawn Hughes and Aaron of Bonifay, FL; four brothers, Eugene Williams, Buddy Roberts, Edgar Williams, and Nick Gray; six sisters, Cassie Yoho, Rosie Yoho, Linda Faucette, Judy Brown, Scharlotte Jones, and Wilma Eddy; nineteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 17, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
