Mr. Robert Monroe Harcus, age 73, of Bonifay, Florida passed away August 15, 2020 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. He was born July 24, 1947 in Bonifay, Florida. Mr. Harcus was preceded in death by his father, Edgar ‘Bud’ Bevis Harcus, his mother, Winford Mae ‘Bunch’ McWilliams Bryant; two sons, Allen Harcus and Christopher Harcus, one sister, Cyrietha Swindle, one brother, Paul Ray Harcus and a grandson, Joshua Harcus.
Mr. Harcus is survived by his wife, Debbie Pugh of Bonifay, FL; three sons, Curtis Harcus and wife Jennifer of Bonifay, FL, Steven Harcus of Tifton, GA and Jason Pugh and wife Rae of Bonifay, FL; one brother, Billy Ray Harcus of Bonifay, FL; two sisters, Kathy Herring and husband Jim of Chipley, FL and Mary Ellen Harcus Howard of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Deanna, Shawn, Jared, Samantha, Colby, Claudia and Courtney; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Grace Fellowship Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Grace Fellowship Christian Church.
