Rosia Elizabeth ‘Bet’ Brown Lewis, age 93, of Bonifay, Florida passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at her home. She was born July 27, 1929, in West Bay, Florida. Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, K.B. Lewis and her parents, Johnnie and Emma Brown.
She is survived by her two children, Judy Ann Lewis White and husband, Bill of Bonifay Florida and Jimmy Ray Lewis and wife, Debby of Leesville, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Rosanne Mitchell, Eddie White, Kelley White (Kelley), Tabitha Safdi (David), William Lewis (Stephanie), Adam Lewis, and Jacob Perkins; thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandma to some and MawMaw to others, she was an amazing person who loved fiercely and unconditionally! She loved crocheting, quilting, fishing, her family; especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, but her love for Jesus was at the center of all she did, and that love is what she so graciously shown others. She taught Sunday School for many years, impacting countless lives.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at New Bayview Church. Interment will follow in the New Bayview Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 at New Bayview Church.
