Ms. Samantha Melissa Pitts, age 53, of the Bonifay, Florida passed away April 9, 2022, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. She was born October 2, 1968, and was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Sterlin Leavins and one brother, Travis Urquhart.
Samantha is survived by her mother, Cathern Lewis Leavins of Bonifay, FL; four children, Dustin Collins, Brittany (Weston Gilmore) Pitts, Kaytlin Pitts Treadwell, and Preston Tice Treadwell all of Bonifay, FL; two grandchildren, Jerry Jace Tice and Alli Brianna Tice; two sisters, Selene Leavins and Natasha Leavins; one brother, Rusty Leavins; special nephew, Dillian Leavins; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 15, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the New Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10 AM at Peel Funeral Home.
