BARBARA ANN SLAY

Mrs. Barbara Ann Slay, age 74, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 24, 1951, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Newton Cortez King and Dois Marsh King.

Mrs. Slay is survived by her husband, HC Slay of Bonifay; two daughters, Lea Bryant and husband David and Myra Slay both of Bonifay, FL: five grandchildren, Derek Hall and wife Rhonda, Tanner Bryant, Seth Bryant and wife Autumn, Abby Bryant, and Ben Slay; two great-grandchildren, Asher Slay Bryant and Jaxson Hall; three sisters, Betty King, Linda Powell, and Teresa King; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3:30 until service time at Peel Funeral Home.  Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
