Mrs. Connie Dee Russell, age 72, of Esto, Florida passed away January 25, 2023, at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida. She was born January 7, 1951, in Goshen, Indiana to the late Charles Reed and Rowena Stinson Reed. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Schubert and one brother, Richard Reed.
Connie is survived by her husband, David Russell of Esto, FL; three children, Shawn Scheidel and wife Christie of Middlebury, IN, Cassie Conrad and husband Paul of New Paris, IN, and Melissa Turbeville and husband Frank of Bonifay, FL; six grandchildren, Ashley Weiland, Austin Conrad, Morgan Conrad, Mishayla Turbeville, Emilee Conrad, and Hayden Scheidel; three great-grandchildren, Charlie Weiland, Gabriel Weiland, and Lilian Weiland; one brother, Peter Reed and wife Diane; two sisters, Beverly Wykoff and husband Robert and Timi Sheline and husband James; special friends and caregiver, Jessica Paret; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at Peel Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
