JAMES RANDALL KIRKLAND

Mr. James Randall Kirkland, age 82, of Bonifay, Florida passed away August 12, 2026, at his home.  He was born on October 22, 1943, in Tavares, Florida to the late James Noah Kirkland and Lois Tew Kirkland.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Kirkland was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Kirkland, one grandchild, Danelle Walker, one brother, Robert Kirkland, and one sister, Jessee White.

Mr. Kirkland is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Wilson Kirkland; five children, Vicki Raab and Mark, Anita Moore, Lisa Hammack and Ronnie, James ‘Bo’ Kirkland Jr., and Karen Mahon and Dustin; 10 grandchildren, Wesley Trammel, Michael Kirkland, Cassandra Ortiz, Melissa Ortiz, Thomas Raab and Ashley, Carlie Walker, James Raab, Elizabeth Story and Cody, CJ Yates, and Joshua Ortiz; 14 great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Garret, Ryder, Gage, Alana, Colton, Robert, Brynlee, Will, Aidan, Lexie, Trentin, Lisa, and Lettie; one brother, James ‘Jimmy’ Noah Kirkland Jr.; one sister, Anita Purvee; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, August 17, 2026, at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
