Ms. Darlous Wyndolyn Everett Ellis, age 76, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 8, 2023, at the Noland Hospital in Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. She was born June 29, 1947, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Joe Brady Everett and Opal Blackburn Everett. In addition to her parents, Darlous was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Devane Ellis.
Ms. Ellis is survived by two daughters, Ayshia Ellis Hatcher of Kathleen, GA and Tia Ellis Morris and husband Johnny of El Paso, TX; four grandchildren, Caroline Hatcher of Kathleen, GA, Mary-Ellen Morris of El Paso, TX, Clark Morris of El Paso, TX and Amelia Morris of El Paso, TX; four siblings, Susan Fur of Bonifay, FL, Ersil Everett and wife Theresa of Bonifay, FL, Sharee Wilcox of Bonifay, FL, and Dennis Everett and wife Joann of Marianna, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service was held December 12, 2023, in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In memory of Darlous, memorial donations may be given to Holmes County Library, 303 J Harvey Etheridge Street, Bonifay, Florida 32425.
