Mr. Donald Stephen Smith, age 72, of Chipley, Florida passed away June 15, 2021 at his home. He was born February 23, 1949 in Zolfo Springs, Florida to the late Jesse Edward Smith and Mary Luverne Pennington Smith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Otis Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by one daughter, Mary ‘Sandie’ Robinson and husband Bruce of Chipley, FL; one sister, Beverly Taylor of Chipley, FL; two grandsons, John Robinson and wife Ashleigh and Christopher Robinson; two great-granddaughters, Abigail Robinson, and Amelia Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2021, at The Bridge Church in Sunny Hills with Pastor Tony Hagan officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bonifay. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at The Bridge Church.
