Mr. Douglas Alan Dunivan, age 59, of Monticello, Florida passed away April 25, 2023, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. He was born July 9, 1963, in Kokomo, Indiana. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Richard Melvin Dunivan.
Mr. Dunivan is survived by his wife of 30 years, Denise Dunivan of Monticello, FL; two daughters, Caitlyn Marie Dunivan-Smith and husband, Levi of San Antonio, TX and Celysse Marlee Dunivan of Davenport, FL; his mother, Phyllis Dunivan of Bonifay, FL; three siblings, Diana Ochoa and husband Edward of Rockville, MD, David Dunivan of Kokomo, IN, and Donna Stubbs and husband Michael of Vernon, FL; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Maria Montalvo of New Braunfels, TX; father-in-law, Jesse Gutierrez and wife Carolyn Mann-Gutierrez of Austin, TX; two sisters-in-law, Elissa Resetar and husband David of East Lime, CT and Dina Gutierrez of Austin, TX.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday at Peel Funeral Home in Bonifay, Florida. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, April 29, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
