FREDERICK SHERMAN-WAYNE COLE

Mr. Frederick ‘Fred, Uncle Fred Fred’ Sherman-Wayne Cole, age 60, of Bonifay, Florida passed away April 4, 2026, at his home.  He was born on December 19, 1965, in Gary, Indiana.  Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Lee Pope Cole Ours, his stepfather, Eugene ‘Gene’ Ours, and daughter, Xanadu Juanita Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Valerie Cole; one sister, Rosemary ‘Rose’ Cole; three brothers, Bruce Cole, Erick Cole, and Justin Ours and wife Carrie; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Hevesy and Michelle, Alex Hevesy, Kasey Cole, Andrea Ours, Kennedy Ours, Emberley Ours, and Emmitt Ours; one great niece, Cecilia Hevesy.

Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Monday, April 13, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Adams officiating.  Interment followed in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematoy in charge of arrangements.  The family received friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
