Mr. George Leslie Bush, age 85, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 24, 2021, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida. He was born June 11, 1936, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Leslie Bush and Callie Estelle Strickland Bush. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edna Bush.
Mr. Bush is survived by one son, Neal Bush and wife Amanda of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Lisa Thompson and husband Harold of Bonifay, FL; one sister, Louise Connell of Bonifay, FL; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Pine Hill Church with Rev. James Bush officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
