Mr. Harry Eugene Taylor, age 81, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 23, 2022, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. He was born March 10, 1941, in Holmes County Florida to the late Malcolm Taylor and Idella Barrentine Taylor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by five siblings, Bonnielee Anderson, Lewis Taylor, Lavern and Lambert Gilley, Harold Dean Taylor, and Ralph Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a construction superintendent of 43 years building schools in the tri state area.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Taylor of Bonifay, FL; ten children, Fred Conner and Kim of Bonifay, FL, Cindy Schrader and Max of Bonifay, FL, Tim Conner and Robin of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Robert Taylor of Bonifay, FL, Stevie Conner of Bonifay, FL, Donna Hysmith and Harold of Bonifay, FL, Karen Bebbington and Ian of Plant City, FL, Matt Conner and Janice of Bonifay, FL, Keith Wells and Teresa of Bonifay, FL, and Chris Taylor and Maria of Bonifay, FL; two sisters, Carolyn Bradshaw and Butch of Hartford, AL and Joyce Moss and Ernest of Panama City, FL; 34 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews and to mention a few, Sharon and John Sheppard, Janice Gilley, and Donny and Joann Gilley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 27, 2022, at Esto Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Monday at Peel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe given to Esto Church of Christ.
Serving as pallbearers will be his great-grandsons, Keegan, Thorn, Scotty, Jacob, Robbie, and Nate.
