Ms. Irene Morrell Elliott, age 84, passed away on February 13, 2022, at her daughter's home in Abbeville, Alabama. She was born December 27, 1937, in Ebro, Florida to the late Bob Morrell and Bethel Strickland Morrell. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles ‘Bill’ Elliott and two brothers, Edward Morrell and Alton Morrell.
Ms. Elliott is survived by her daughter, Linda Blalock and husband Kenneth of Abbeville, AL; two granddaughters, Haley S. Hicks and Leah Rabren; four great-grandchildren, Zellie Hicks, Haze Blalock, Lawson Blalock, and Kennie Lynn Rabren; two sisters, Cletie Rutherford of Ebro, FL and Virginia Scott and husband Butch of Ebro, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Rock of Deliverance Praise and Worship Center in Ebro, Florida. Interment will follow in the Ebro Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at Rock of Deliverance Praise and Worship Center.
