Mr. James Dennis Carnley, age 84, of Bonifay, Florida passed away July 5, 2022, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay. He was born May 7, 1938, in Vernon, Florida to the late Manuel Alexander Carnley and Examae Adams Carnley. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Steven Carnley, and two brothers, Ira Gene Carnley and Wilson Carnley.
Mr. Carnley is survived by his wife, Evelyn Carnley of Bonifay, FL, children, Teresa Newsome and husband Robert of Bonifay, FL, Donna Hoffman of Graceville, FL, Danny Carnley and wife Donna of Bonifay, FL, Jessica Thompson and husband Brian of Nashua, NH, Joel Yon and wife Vinita of Chipley, FL, and Vicki Keel and husband Andy of Slocomb, AL; daughter-in-law, Terri Kuscmaul Carnley of Graceville, FL; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Hershel Carnley and wife Lana; one sister, Geraldine Chambliss and husband David; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022, at Winterville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mitch Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Winterville Assembly of God Church.
