Mr. James Wade Johns III, age 41, of Brooklyn Park, Maryland passed away March 3, 2024. He was born December 16, 1982, in Clair-Mel City, Florida. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James Wade Johns Sr., maternal grandfather, Thomas Neal Jacobs, and maternal grandmother, Eva Rose Woods.
Mr. Johns is survived by his mother and step-father, Anne Marie Lexner and Michael James Lexner of Caryville, FL; his father and step-mother, James Wade ‘Jim’ Johns Jr. and Robin Oats of Brooklyn Park, MD; his daughter, Cherish Elainah Johns of Tallahassee, FL; four siblings, Eddie Wright of St. Catherine, FL, Lavena Lofley and husband Michael of Bonifay, FL, Tiffanie Sapp and husband Kyle of Caryville, FL, and Jacob Johns and wife Ashley of San Diego, CA; paternal grandmother, Juanita Massie of Annapolis, MD; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2024, at Northside Assembly of God Church in Bonifay, Florida. Interment will follow in the Spotted Horse Family Cemetery in Washington County Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Northside Assembly of God Church.
