Mr. James Wallace Phillips, age 65, of Bonifay, Florida passed away March 13, 2022, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was born April 4, 1956, in Avon Park, Florida. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Danford Phillips and his father, James Daniel Phillips.
Mr. Phillips is survived by four children, Jamie Lynn Singletary and husband Dean of Lyons, GA, Jodie Lee Johnson and husband James of Lady Lake, FL, Jessica Lana Hall of FL, and James Matthew Phillips of FL; eight siblings, Murlene Phillips of Bradenton, FL, Patricia Ann Boyd of Bonifay, FL, Albert Eugene Phillips of Lake Wales, FL, Regina Faye Creel of Caryville, FL, Jimmie Ray Phillips of Vernon, FL, Annie Laura Stewart of Bonifay, FL, Samuel Arthur Phillips of Caryville, FL, and Mary Elizabeth Pierce of Lake Wales, FL; eight grandchildren, Adam, William, Zachary, Paul, Kaitlin, Alexis, Dominic, and Ruby; four great-grandchildren, Hope, Cerina, Avery, and Levi; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 pm at Peel Funeral Home.
