Ms. Jessica Marlene Granger, age 52, of Vernon, Florida passed away October 9, 2022, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida. She was born December 12, 1969, in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late Marvin Bailey Harper, Sr. and Phronie Mae Varnadore Harper. In addition to her parents, Jessica was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin ‘Bo’ Bailey Harper II.
Jessica is survived by two daughters, Amanda Granger of Bonifay, FL and Lisa Marlene Granger of Vernon, FL; three grandchildren, Khloie Renee Granger, Kaylee Grace Draper, and Anslee Granger; father of children, Wayne Anthony Granger, Jr. of Greenhead, FL; three sisters, Jeannie Harper of Whitesboro, TX, Stacey Leavins & husband Terry of Vernon, FL, and Star Shepard of Jacksonville, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Vernon Chapel. Interment will follow in the Vernon City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Peel Funeral Home Vernon Chapel.
