JOAN ‘JOANIE’ STEVERSON SLADE

Ms. Joan ‘Joanie’ Steverson Slade, age 67, of Bonifay, Florida passed away March 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born September 19, 1956, in Leesburg, Florida to the late Eugene Steverson and Betty Jean Berry Steverson. 

Joanie is survived by her son, Shane Slade and wife Brianne of Umatilla, FL; her daughter, Karly Jernigan of Umatilla, FL; eight grandchildren, Tyson, Kayne, Kayson, Tayten, Tylie, Rayna Mae, Stratton, and Raleigh; two brothers, Kennie ‘Donnie’ Steverson of Eustis, Florida and Timmy Steverson of Enterprise, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Oak Grove Pentecostal Ministries Church with Rev. Tracy Hobbs officiating.  Interment will follow in the Whitewater Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM at Oak Grove Pentecostal Ministries Church.
