JOHN LARRY SMITH SR.

Mr. John Larry Smith Sr., age 71, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 9, 2023, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. He was born August 1, 1952, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Benjamin Franklin Smith and Helen Lounette Hilson Smith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Franklin Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Audrey Smith of Bonifay, FL; three sons, John L. Smith Jr. and wife Andrea, Benjamin Timothy Smith and wife Rebecca, and Thomas Daniel Smith all of Bonifay, FL; two sisters, Sarah Smith of Bonifay, FL and Lounette Wilkerson of Cottondale, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Tyler Smith, Jessica Smith, Hannah Smith, Abbigail Duffey, Alexis Duffey, Annabel Duffey, Aubrey Grace Duffey, Benjamin Smith Jr., Ashley Gregory, Michael Chance, Amanda Ross, Delinger Chance, and Alaric Ross; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
