Mr. John Wayne Cartwright, age 73, of Esto, Florida passed away August 1, 2023, at his home. He was born September 25, 1949, in Westville, Florida to the late John Richard Cartwright and Wynola Hawthorne Cartwright.
Mr. Cartwright is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheela Cartwright of Esto, FL; three children, Starla Vermillion and Joshua Pedersen of Chipley, FL, John Wayne Cartwright II and Amy Gammons of Hartford, AL, and April Nichole Cartwright Gary and Michael Gray of Esto, FL; six grandchildren, Nicholl Vermillion, Billy Vermillion, Trey Cartwright, Robyn Cartwright, Sarah Cartwright, and Callie Gray.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Peel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Campground Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
