Mr. Joseph ‘Joedy’ Stephen Harris, Jr., age 56, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away February 15, 2023, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was born May 9, 1966, in Lake Wales, Florida. Joedy was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stephen Harris, Sr.
Joedy is survived by his wife, of 29 years, Sherry Harris of Ponce de Leon, FL; three children, Terri Harris of Ponce de Leon, FL, Matthew Harris and wife Briaughna of Gainesville, FL and Samantha Scruggs of Ponce de Leon, FL; his mother, Annie Frances Harris of Ponce de Leon, FL; one sister, Theresa Bryan and husband Steve of Bonifay, FL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023, at First United Pentecostal Church of Westville with Rev. Jason Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the First United Pentecostal Church of Westville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of Westville.
