Mrs. Judy McWilliams Russ, age 77, of Caryville, Florida passed away August 26, 2024, at Southeast Health Medical in Dothan, Alabama. She was born December 23, 1946, in Caryville, Florida to the late Bernard McWilliams and Maud S Godwin McWilliams. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Sue Russ, one grandson, Kenneth Mark Nicholas III, and four siblings, Joyce Moody, Tommy Lynn Swindle, Linda Davis, and Stevie McWilliams.
Mrs. Russ is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Henry H. Russ Jr.; four children, Michael Shane Russ and Charita, Wayne Scott Russ and Tanna Blanchard, Rayne Ellen Russ, and Russell Ellis Russ and Valerie; nine grandchildren, Abbey, Kyle, Ryan, Cori, Tiffany, Rebekah, Riley, Robert, and Rocklund; three great-grandchildren, Dexter, Silas, and Eve; two siblings, Walton McWilliams and JoAnn Player and John; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sasser officiating. Cremation will follow with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family
will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30 to 6:00 PM Wednesday at Peel Funeral Home.
