Ms. Lou Edith Watson, age 92, of Westville, Florida passed away February 24, 2022, at her home. She was born January 13, 1930, in Westville, Florida to the late Bud Smith and Sarah Ann Huggins Smith. In addition to her parents, Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Edward Watson, one son, Richard Shirley, three sisters, Estelle Shawley, Elize Smith, and Bessie Bowers, and four brothers, James Cullifer, Talmer Cullifer, J.C. Smith, and Gaston Smith.
Ms. Watson is survived by her daughter, Barbara Watson of Westville, Florida, one granddaughter, Kaitlin Watson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Open Pond United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Steve Connell officiating. Interment will follow in the Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm at Open Pond United Pentecostal Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Bowers, Roderick Bowers, Lance Groce, Greg Windham, Brandon Windham, and Greg Windham Jr.
