LUNETT MONK BLACKWELL
Ms. Lunett Monk Blackwell, age 86, of Chipley, Florida passed away August 10, 2021, at her daughter’s home. She was born October 8, 1934, in Chipley, Florida to the late Hershell Monk and Cora Lee Strickland Monk. In addition to her parents, Lunett was preceded in death by one son, Larry Hendrix, one great-granddaughter, Taylor Siebern, three sisters, Mae Cafferty, Betty Jean Redmon, and Shirley Mellen, and three brothers, Mac Monk, Bud Monk, and Jack Monk.
Ms. Blackwell is survived by three daughters, Patricia Shackelford, Debra Snell and husband Sydney, and Jackie Campbell; 10 grandchildren, Terry Lynn Suggs and husband Rex, Scotty Ray Boyett, Brandon Hendrix, Michelle Azlin and husband Chris, Dedtra Siebern, Matthew Tyler Campbell, Steven Campbell, Jazmyn Campbell, Curtis Snell and Molissa, and Sherry Lynn Snell; 18 great-grandchildren, Thomas Suggs, Bradley Suggs, Chase Boyett, Cassidy Boyett, Summer Azlin, August Siebern, Jaydon Campbell, Jaza Rigester, Grace Campbell, Elliott Barfield, Jake Snell, Kay Long and husband Clint, Miranda Whitaker and husband Jon, Jeremy Snell and wife Kerrissa, Riley Campbell, Crickett Campbell, Quinton Campbell, and Joe Kuecler; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Ann Suggs, Levi Whitaker, Gavin Whitaker, Elias Whitaker, Georgia Whitaker, Ivy Whitaker; four sisters, Louvern Spence, Mary Duffey and husband Roger, Celest Walsingham, and Bernie Palmer; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Peel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM Friday, August 13, 2021, in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Monk officiating.
