Mr. Marion Wayne ‘Buster’ Hewett, age 68, of Bonifay, Florida passed away April 19, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 27, 1953, in Port St. Joe, Florida. Buster was preceded in death by his father, Marion Hewettt and his mother, Irma Harris Sellers.
Buster is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diana Hewett of Bonifay, FL; four children, Donna Morgan and husband Bill of Crawfordville, FL, Christopher Wayne Hewett and wife Rebecca of Crawfordville, FL, DeAnn Brooks and husband Randall of Ponce de Leon, FL, and Andrew Wayne Hewett of Caryville, FL; eight grandchildren, Bill, Brittany, Ali, Tristan, Gavin, Lily, Olivia, and Ryan; three great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Faye Weeks, Clipper Segree and husband Larry, Teenie Leavins, Phil Hewett and wife Patricia, Tweety Thomas, Jimmy Hewett, and Patricia Alred; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 24, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dyson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
