Mr. Michael Eugene ‘Mike’ Steverson, age 68, of Bonifay, Florida passed away April 17, 2021 at his home. He was born January 13, 1953 in Lake City, Florida to the late Raymond Steverson and Ruby Myrle Camp Steverson. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Steverson, one sister, Melanie Steverson and one brother, Jerry Steverson.
Mr. Stverson is survived by three daughters, Amy Monk and husband Ronald of Bonifay, FL, Melissa Hudson and husband Mickey of Bonifay, FL, and Stacy Miller and husband Jamie of Clarksville, FL; two sons, Cliff Newsome of Clarksville, FL and Bryan Newsome of Clarksville, FL; one sister, Tammy Patterson and husband Rex of Chipley, FL; eight grandchildren, Blake Mancill and wife Kyla Hope, Alex Mancill, Sophie Losee, Tommie ‘Trip’ Hudson, Sadie Hudson, Bailee Miller, Breanna Miller, and Britt Newsome; one great-grandchild, Harper Jane Mancill; a faithful sidekick, Bond; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, April 20, 2021, at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mike White officiating. Interment will follow in the New Smyrna Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church.
