Mr. Michael ‘Mike’ Gordon Deason, age 67, passed away September 7, 2023, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab in Bonifay, Florida. He was born November 9, 1955, in Winter Park, Florida. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Patricia Deason.
Mr. Deason is survived by two daughters, Mycalann Deason of Naples, FL and Emilie Deason of Naples, FL; a granddaughter, Elliot Eads and a grandson, Major Deason; one sister, Andrea Deason of Naples, FL; two nieces, Leslie Deason and April Nouvel; two nephews, Matthew Deason and Caleb Fernandez; lifelong friend, Wesley Basso of Westville, FL.
Mike was a military veteran who served in the Army 82nd Airborne. He worked 31 years as an appraiser with the Collier County Property Appraiser Office and after retiring he enjoyed being an adventurous traveler. Mike loved dirt bikes, sports, and especially his kids and grandkids.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
