MONETTE PARRISH FRENCH

Ms. Monette Parrish French, age 90, of Bonifay, Florida passed away June 27, 2026, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab.  She was born on July 8, 1935, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Jessie E. Parrish and Eunice K. Steverson Parrish.  In addition to her parents, Monette was preceded in death by her husband, Thaniel French, her daughter, Mona French Cross Littleton, her son, Jerry ‘Buddy’ French, her daughter-in-law, Cindy French, two brothers, Robert Parrish and Cecil Parrish, and two sisters, Helen Peterson and Louise Sawyer.

Ms. French is survived by one son, Thaniel ‘Junior’ French; four grandchildren, Justin Cross and wife Cindy, Jesse French and wife April, Curtis French and wife Mindy and Clayton French and wife Jenna; eight great-grandchildren, Ian Cross, Jenna Cross, Jayden French, Paxton French, Jaxson French, Shainley French, Brody French, and Cynthia French; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funreal Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangement.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM at Peel Funeral Home.
