Ms. Muriel Elise Register, age 91, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 31, 2024, at her home. She was born September 5, 1932, in Bonifay, Holmes County, Florida to the late Archie Hewett and Marion Elizabeth Theus Hewett. In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. Register, one son, Milton Louis Register, and one sister, Evelyn Bavis.
Ms. Register is survived by one son, Westley ‘Wes’ Register and wife Tracy of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Rosie Richardson of Williston, FL; one sister, Sue Anderson of Westville, FL; two granddaughters, Melissa Strickland and Kim Barber; three great-grandsons, Conner Strickland, Jacob Strickland, and Ean Strickland; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sellers Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
