Ms. Nancy Eloice Coates Broom, age 99, of Bonifay, Florida passed away December 25, 2021, at her home. She was born June 23, 1922, in Bonifay, Florida to the late Norman Erastus Coates and Nancy Melinda Pate Coates. In addition to her parents, Eloice was preceded in death by six siblings.
Eloice is survived by three nieces, Phyllis Dunivan, Ida Faye Powell, and Teresa Coates and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Ms. Broom was a member of Carmel Assembly of God Church. The family wishes to thank Emerald Coast Hospice and her care sitters for the care, compassion and concern they gave.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM at Peel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Carmel Assembly of God Church, 1485 Carmel Church Road, Bonifay, Florida 32425.
