PAMELA SUE PITTS

Ms. Pamela ‘Pam’ Sue Pitts, age 50, of Westville, Florida passed away August 28, 2025.  She was born on September 14, 1974, in Geneva, Alabama.  Pam was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Pitts, maternal grandparents, Wesley and Maggie Mae Palmer and paternal grandparents, John B. and Louise Pitts.

Ms. Pitts is survived by her mother, Linda Sue Pitts of Bonifay, FL; her sister, Jennifer Covell and husband, David of Bonifay, FL; her fiancé, Eddie Melton of Westville, FL; her best friend, Eric Minger of Westville, FL; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Pam earned her Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Gulf Coast College.  She devoted much of her life to working with children. Pam began her career with Head Start, where her compassion and patience touched countless young lives. Later, she continued her service through Tri-County Services, where she made a difference in her community.  In addition to her work in education and community services, Pam later became a small business owner, operating Clean-N-Tidy.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ of Caryville.  Interment will follow in the Caryville City Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Peel Funeral Home.
