Ms. Phyllis Anita Mims Harcus, age 71, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 10, 2022, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. She was born February 27, 1951, in Valparaiso, Florida to the late Wilburn Bill Mims and Harriet Nolia Pitts Mims. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harcus and a sister, Sarah Dillingham.
Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Jessica Meintel and husband Matt of Bonifay, FL; three grandchildren, Alex Meintel and wife Jessie, Tai Meintel, and Ashley Harcus; three step-sons, Shane Howell, Brian Howell, and T.J. Harcus; three step-daughters, Allison Howell, Nikki Howell, and Elisha Harcus; several step-grandchildren.
Memorialization will be by cremation with a celebration of life service in November.
